In 2009, Three Rivers Land Conservancy will collaborate with Columbia
Land Trust on two major fundraising events to our mutual benefit. The first is coming up! Wild Splendor on May 30th, 2009. And don't forget to Save the Date for Wine & Land, 2009 -Sept. 13th. Join us as we double our impact and fun.
Why collaborate on fundraising events?
Given the challenging economy, Columbia Land Trust and Three Rivers Land Conservancy recognized an opportunity to collaborate rather than compete to amplify the impact of our fundraising efforts. By co-hosting Wild Splendor and Three Rivers’ Wine & Land event, we’ll be able to reach a larger audience, achieve greater cost efficiencies, share proceeds and, ultimately, conserve more land.
Columbia Land Trust is a land conservation organization whose mission, goals, histories and conservation strategies are similar to our own. It targets a large area stretching from east of the Cascades to the Pacific Ocean, while we concentrate on the Greater Portland Metro area and the goal of keeping nature close to home.

Proceeds from both Wild Splendor and Wine & Land will be divided equally between Columbia Land Trust and Three Rivers Land Conservancy, unless otherwise specified. Most importantly, your donations will go toward helping conserve the landscapes and habitats of our region, strengthening local communities.
